I noticed the ice was breaking up on the Pere Marquette river this morning. Can you feel a steelhead run. I can.

I was up in Arcadia today and saw that the deer were plentiful and hitting any open ground they could find. Lake Michigan was gorgeous and Portage Lake still had a bunch of ice fisherman on it! Not that much open water yet.

I am looking for an existing waterfront cottage on Crooked Lake. Any ideas about what that might cost be square foot? I noticed there is a condo project on the water in Oden, but that was very expensive for the square footage. What about the older cottages on the water anywhere on Crooked?

Traveled over to Gaylord today and there was still snow on most of the snowmobile trails. Saw about a dozen sleds out gassing up over at Waters IGA. Lots of shanties stll out on several lakes.
